Compiling a RSL shader
After compiling a shader a user could create a RIB file to
test the shader by choosing Single Frame Rib from the Rman Tools palette - figure 1.
The text of the RIB file would include a call to the shader with a full listing
of the shaders parameter names and (default) values. Previous maintenance work
had regrettably introduced a bug that broke this feature of Cutter. That bug has
now been fixed.
