Since the fall of 2001 students have been expected to maintain a web based
"work-in-progress" portfolio. Their web pages
serve three purposes. Firstly, it enables the students, generally spread across
several groups, to share their artwork with each other. Secondly,
it enables their work to be reviewed "on-line".
Thirdly, it ensures the students, upon completion of the course, have a
wide selection of images and animations that can be incorporated into their
personal web site.
The links shown above take you to the best work produced by
students since the fall quarter
of 2001. These students were selected because their web pages demonstrate
they were
enthusiastic to share with others detailed information about their experimentations,
explorations and general approach to solving problems related to visual effects
programming.
